Our Story
Inspired by my daughters, Gabriella and Alexandra, The Polished G.A.L. Society stands for more than glam—it’s a finishing experience for the modern teen. From makeup mastery and skincare education to etiquette training, self-branding, and confidence coaching, every
session is intentionally curated to elevate both inner and outer beauty.

Campers will engage with beauty professionals, etiquette experts, and influential guest speakers from the worlds of media, beauty, and entertainment—creating moments of real inspiration and access.

The Polished GAL Society was born from a mother’s love and a vision for her daughters and girls like them. Inspired by her own children, our founder created this program to empower young women with creativity, confidence, and community.

Founder Spotlight: Tessa Rideau
Celebrity Makeup Artist | Educator | Beauty Strategist
With over 20 years in the beauty industry, Tessa Rideau is a force behind some of today’s most polished faces and standout beauty experiences. She built her foundation during a decade-long career with MAC Cosmetics, working everything from New York Fashion Week to Disney x MAC installations.
Her work has been seen at cultural and corporate powerhouses like the Essence Festival, Fortune Impact, and campaigns for ORS Haircare and The Lip Bar. As founder of Artistry Rebirth Beauty, she’s trained and managed over 200 artists, developed executive glam suites, and shaped confidence-first beauty programs for top-tier clients.
Now, she’s bringing that same expertise to the next generation through Polished: Confidence. Class. Culture. A Summer of Becoming — giving girls the tools to lead, look the part, and show up as their full selves.
Tessa is not only a seasoned makeup artist and beauty expert with over a decade of experience working with MAC Cosmetics, Disney x MAC, and major fashion campaigns—she is also a devoted wife and proud mom to Gabriella and Alexandra. Her deep love for empowering young women is rooted in her own journey as a mother who understands the importance of confidence, self-expression, and grace in today’s world. Tessa’s mission with Polished is to pour her heart and expertise into nurturing the next generation of poised, polished women who are ready to embrace their unique beauty and inner strength.
